The department of Anaesthesia offers a Postgraduate Diploma in Anaesthesia. The programme is meant for full-time students only and is to last for 12 calender months. It consist of nine courses, including practical theatre sessions,presentation of papers and participation in clinical teaching sessions.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates who wish to apply for the PGD anaesthesia should have the following qualification;
Basic Degree in medicine( MB.BS, BS or MD) of MB.Ch.B. Pre-regulation internship – 1-year rotation in Medicine, Obs. & Gynae, Surgery and Paediatrics. Registration with Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCAN), NYSC or Exemption Certificate.
DURATION
The programme is only run for full-time only,and it’s duration is 1 year.
Note that candidates will be required to undergo a selection process.
