Good news to all Unilag returning and aspring students,The Academic staff Union of University, (ASUU) has finally called off its over month strike.
The news was relayed to journalists, by Prof. Abiodun Ogunyemi, the ASUU chairman at the federal University of Technology Minna, Niger state, after series of talks with the representatives of the Government.

While speaking with pressmen, after the resolution with National Executive Commitee (NEC).
“Finally, NEC resolved to suspend the strike action embarked upon, with effect from monday, September, 18, 2017 and directs its branches to resume work forthwith”.
Parents, students and Government expressed pleasure and appreciate ASUU, for calling off their long strike.
The ASUU chairman said, with effect from Monday 18th september, suspends its one month old strike, asking all members to go back to work.
The Government on their part, promised ASUU to keep up to their demands.
