The Unilag foundation programme (formerly Unilag Diploma ) is a one year foundation programme at the University of Lagos at the end of which successful students are granted admission to 200Level in the University of Lagos.
The University of Lagos Foundation Programme is designed to provide an alternative admission pathway for students seeking direct entry admission into University of Lagos. Students to be admitted for the programme are expected to sit and pass an entrance examination consisting of two papers:
Paper1 is compulsory and contains multiple choice questions in Mathematics and Use of English only.
Paper2 is also multiple choice questions but contains any three subjects ,other than Mathematics and Use of English, relevant to the chosen course of the students.
Prior to year 2008 , Unilag Foundation was known as Diploma II and the entrance examinations comprised multiple choice questions in Mathematics and the English Language only.
The foundation programme is available in all departments of the university including departments at the College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy.
UNILAG FOUNDATION qualifications are recognized and accepted by some universities in the United Kingdom such as university of Bedforshire
and university of Lancashire.
