Department Of Architecture
The Department of Architecture offers three professional and academic programmes in Architecture. These are the Master of Environmental Design (MUD), Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA), Master of Urban Design (MUD) and the M.Sc./M.Phil./Ph.D. degrees in Architecture. The Department also offers a Postgraduate Diploma in environmental Design (PGDED).
POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN PROGRAMME (PGDED)
This programme was introduced to improve the understanding of professionals in the built environment in basic enviroomental design skills. The aim is to improve the design skills of professionals and other input experts in Environmental design & human Settlements.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Good honours degree in Architecture, Building, Urban Regional Planning, estate Management, Quality Surveying, etc from this University or any other recognized University
GENERAL COURSE CONTENT
* Environmental Design Studio
* Introduction to Landscape Architecture
˟Principles of Urban Design Principles of Planning and Design
NATURE OF ASSESSMENT
Course work/ Presentations/Dissertations.
DURATION
The programme shall be (3) semesters of course work and thesis project for part-time students.
