The Department of Creative Arts admits candidates for the Postgraduate Diploma PGD), Master of Arts M.A.), Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) degrees in three areas: Theatre Arts, Music and Visual Arts.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS For PGD programme In Theatre Arts, Music or Visual Arts, the candidates must have a B. A., B.Sc. or their equivalent in areas other than Creative Arts, Theatre Arts, Music or Visual Arts: For the MA. programme in Theatre Arts, Music or Visual Arts, candidates must hold a B.A or its equivalent in Creative Arts, Theatre Arts, Music, visual Arts. Holders of B.A (Ed) in Music, Theatre Arts or Visual Arts are also eligible to apply. For the M. Phil. programme Theatre Arts, Music or Visual Arts candidates must hold an M.A. or its’ equivalent with a GPA of 3.50 to 3.99 or first Class in Theatre Arts, Music or visual Arts. For the Ph.D., candidates must have either an M. Phil, or an M. A. with a G.PA of 4.0 and above in Theater Arts, Music or Visual Arts as the case may be.
