The Department of Educational Administration’s programmes include Post—Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Educational Administration and Planning; Master of Education)n (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Administration and Planning; Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree in Educational Administration/Planning and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Administration /Planning.

Our postgraduate programmes include specialization n Educational Administration, Educational Planning, Economics of Education, Human Resource Management, Policy Analysis in Education,
Educational Leadership and Teacher Development.

Concerted research efforts are made to explore the problems and policy issues confronting educational planners and managers.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The course is designed for a holder a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from the University of lagos and any other recognized institution with at least two years relevant work experience.

The course is designed for School Principals, Inspectors and others in administrative positions in the educational system as a means of improving their effectiveness and efficiency.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT:
a) The programme is open to candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Education (not below 2 Class Lower) or holders of the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), Postgraduate
Diploma in Education Administration and Planning of the University of Lagos or any other recognized university.
b) Candidate may be required to undergo a selection process.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
In order to obtain a Ph.D. degree in Educational Administration/Planning of this University, a candidate must:
(a) Offer and pass a minimum of six (6) units and a maximum of 12 units of course at the 900 level;
(b) Satisfy’s all and other regulation as stipulated in the regulations of the School of Postgraduate Studies.
