As part of the activities marking the 7th Annual Health Week, a programme organized by the Medical Centre, a novelty match was played. The match was played between the Medical Centre Team and the Centre for Information Technology and Systems (CITS) Team with the CITS Team winning the match 1 goal to nothing (1 – 0).
The awesome match was filled with thrills and spills with the CITS Team defeating the Medical Team 1 goal to nil (1 – 0). The lone goal was scored by Mr. Emmanuel Adewumi at the 76th minute.
On a light note, the spokesperson for CITS Team stated that, the CITS Team mercifully kept the scoreline at 1:0 out of modesty and so as not to steal the Medical Centre’s team shine since it was the Medical Centre’s week.
